Location: Indonesia - Padang Pariaman, West Sumatera
We are currently seeking a Media and Public Relations Coordinator (national) for
our AusAID funded Padang Pariaman Health Facilities Reconstruction Program. As
Media and Public Relations Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning,
coordinating and implementing the development of information and communication
materials and to promote good public relations between the Australia Indonesia
Partnership, its stakeholders and the general public concerning the Padang
Pariaman Health Facilities Reconstruction. The position will potentially be
engaged to support another AusAID funded program that Coffey manages, namely
AIPMNH Program from Pariaman initially and from Kupang at a later stage for
approximately 2 years.
You will have a university degree with relevant experience for this role and
possess extensive experience in public affairs and/or the media, using a
strategic approach to implement communication strategies, including an ability
to generate publicity and find media opportunities; having a good familiarity
with development assistance programs in general and public health programs in
particular is an advantage
The ideal candidate will have a strong media network as well as network with
local government of West Sumatra; having media and illustration technical
skills, such as graphic design skills, multimedia skills (photography and
video); productive writer and excellent proficiency in both written and spoken
English; An experience working effectively in a team from varied cultural and
professional backgrounds will be highly regarded
