Summary of key functions:

1. Plan, develop and conduct workshops to develop capacity in advocacy, and communication related to advocacy, for government and officials and technical staff.
2. Develop (with Regional Advocacy and Communication Coordinator) national advocacy strategy plan in harmony with regional advocacy strategy with dissemination and implementation plans, including drawing up TORs for consultants, overseeing research and findings, development of drafts and final document.
3. Plan and implement locally appropriate advocacy-related activities, and develop networking and advocacy materials as needed at the national and sub-national levels (including in relation to restructuring of DKI Jakarta market chain).
4. Provide inputs to the RAP Advocacy and Communication Coordinator in planning, producing, disseminating and implementing regionally appropriate multi-media advocacy and community engagement and mobilisation materials.
5. Collaborate with RAP Advocacy and Communication Coordinator in developing and disseminating regional advocacy strategy, networking materials, and advocacy materials.
6. Plan and conduct national level workshops to develop skills in strategic communication planning and leadership for the prevention and control of HPAI/animal diseases.
7. Develop (with RAP Advocacy and Communication Coordinator) criteria and data gathering templates for best

Education:

* 6 - 8 years professional experience in the broad area of communication and advocacy, including at least 5 years experience in a developing country.
* Substantial prior experience in working with UN agencies and/or international agencies in large-scale initiatives on policy advocacy, strategic communication, partnership building and social mobilization is highly desirable.
* Strong and demonstrable experience in collaborative work and direct professional relationships with partners such as WHO, UNICEF, World Bank, OIE and international donor agencies.
* Expertise in the design and development of health and development-related messages, as well as substantial experience in working with the media through innovative and creative projects. Thorough understanding of participatory approaches and community-based interventions.
* Demonstrable experience in the design and delivery of communication training and capacity-building interventions with government counterparts.

Vacancies for a field engineer with TSU - Micro Hydro Project

Indonesia with its abundant water resources has potential for thousands of mini and micro hydro power schemes throughout the islands. Technical Support Unit
(TSU) is interlinked with the (green) PNPM-LMP program. TSU's aim is to provide technical support in order to ensure quality, sustainability and technical sound
design of the hydro schemes built under the program and to integrate best practices for sustainable hydro power with future PNPM activities, i.e. build and strengthen capacity at ground level.

TSU is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Field Engineer as consultant in the province of Bengkulu (Sumatera) preferable with experience in Micro Hydro implementation. The responsibilities and academic background of this vacancy are shown below:

Responsibilities
In Bengkulu a field office will be established where the engineer will be stationed.
He/she will often travel and stay in the (more) remote areas of Bengkulu to meet partners and monitor/supervise micro hydro sites under construction. In the regional TSU office (based in Padang) a team of micro hydro experts can advise regarding implementation of the planned activities in case required.

In specific his/her tasks will be:
- Facilitate, moderate and coordinate processes between local PNPM partners in Bengkulu and TSU regional office in Padang
- Evaluation of opportunities for Micro Hydro activities in the pilot project Kecamatans in Bengkulu
- Verification/survey visits to sites where Micro Hydro projects are proposed
- On-site monitoring/supervision visits during construction of micro hydro projects in Bengkulu.
- Discuss adaptations in the technical design of Micro Hydro projects with the TSU team in Padang in case required and advisory of local facilitators on (new) design criteria and best practices.
- Support PMD in terms of community empowerment and training of field facilitators regarding identification, planning, designing and management of renewable energy technologies and systems.

Academic background:
- Undergraduate from Civil engineering (Micro Hydro Experience is a plus)
- Site surveying experience
- Project monitoring/supervision experience
- Work experience on local institutional/private level
- Moderation/facilitation competence
- Understanding of participative approaches for project development
- Able to read/understand technical civil drawings and able to propose/sketch changes in design
- SIM (driving license) for at least motorbike, best motorbike and car

The HR Admin Officer is to provide secretarial and administration services to all KOTA project staff in Jayapura, Papua.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

Program
• Assist Project Manager to prepare a letter, Project data, and Monthly report.
Procurement
• Assist Project Manager to process the office supply procurement.
• Control and monitor the office supply use and availability for regular needs of project staff.
• Contact Equipment vendors to purchase, services and repair office equipment.
• Prepare contract for services and repair office equipment, rent Office, car, etc.
• Maintain and monitoring organization's assets, including vehicles/motorcycles.
• Monitoring log and fuel consumption analysis properly by establishing vehicles/motorcycles files.
• Processing the procurement request for project and ensure the process comply with CARE Indonesia Procurement Manual.
• Manage regional asset list for below and above US$ 200 and under US$ 200.
• Submit monthly asset report to Regional office Manager & Administration Manager in 1st week of each month.
• Files/documents important and confidential paperwork such as document transactions for data base, for local list vendor/supplier and records all vendors/suppliers profiles.
• Updates and submits Procurement Status Report (PSR) to the Jakarta Procurement Officer.
• Establish and maintain regional "Approved Vendor List".
• Provide training and support to local partners on CARE procurement & administrative.

HR
• Preparing staff attendance, medical reimbursement, leaves report, and preparing payroll calculation.
• Coordinate with HR Head Quarter if there is personnel requisition for project purpose and other HR duties.

Finance
• Assist Project Manager to collect Travel Expense Report project staff.
• Prepare breakdown monthly invoices for official phone, electricity.
• Prepare ROP and breakdown of invoices for office utilities, courier and others.
• Manage petty cash.

Administration
• Screen of incoming telephone calls and the packing of out going telephone calls.
• Receive and direct visitors.
• Process incoming, correspondence by opening mail, recording in log book, photocopying, circulating and filing.
• Open mail each morning and send mail/e-mail as requested.
• Assist in maintenance of active and inactive general file to ensure that all correspondences and documents are filed properly.
• Arrange/book flight for staff for official travel purpose.

Handicap International Federation Indonesia, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Social Affairs of Republic of
Indonesia, implements activities that will allow people with disabilities in Indonesia to have greater opportunities to exercise their rights to enhance their dignity.

Handicap International Federation (HIF) Indonesia DAD (Development Programme) is establishing a Project in response to emergency caused by volcanic eruption of Merapi. In order to support the activity, a Site Accountant/Administrative Assistant needs to be recruited.

TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the line management of the Site Administration, Site Accountant/Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the implementation of activities in different parts of Yogyakarta/Central Java Provinces. The Site Accountant/Administrative Assistant will be based in Yogyakarta or Central Java Province (Magelang or Klaten) according to his/her area of implementation. Due to the scope of the project, the Site Accountant/Administrative Assistant will have to be experienced in Emergency issues.

The tasks in particular are:
Accounting operations, treasury and commitment of expenditure in the Province
* Input and correct accounting codes of Yogya accounting
* Input accounting data of Yogya site for the 25th of the month.
* Carry out the preparation and the filing of vouchers, their accounts allocation and the recording of entries.
* Manage of head funds.
* Input the MAPS and MAPF codes.( Accounting codes)
* Check the validity and the appropriate nature of proves of purchase (contracts, orders, invoices, delivery notes,...).

Administrative management.
* Manage insurance, contract, premise contracts and alert the Site Admin in case of needs ( end of contracts, incoherence,…).

* Prepare overtime, bonus, outstanding balances, staff ,insurances calculation and payment for Java sites. And satellites
* Compiling of employees individual files

Reporting
* Regular weekly report to the Site Administrator

Assure effective communication and external relations in his/her field
* Assure that the association's actions are legible by developing the association's image and raise the awareness of official bodies likely to be able to provide financial or organizational support.Ensure good internal communications and the effective circulation of information between the different teams, the site and the national level, partners and Handicap International Federation

DUTY STATION: Site Accountant/Administrative Assistant will be based in
Yogyakarta or Magelang, she/he would have to do regular visits to the field

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Essential:
*D3 in Economics and Business
*Minimum of 2 years practical experience on the field

General Functions :

Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and the direct supervision of the Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the implementation of IOM's matching grants for coffee businesses.

Within the "Sustainable Economic Growth for Aceh" - Bener Meriah and Aceh Tengah Districts" Project framework; the incumbent will be responsible for the technical oversight of the matching business grants to private businesses including the development of selection and disbursement mechanisms. S/he will assist to conduct business trainings and monitor the appropriate use of the grants. In particular he/she will:

1. Provide assistance to develop and oversee business selection criteria.
2. Assist to assess businesses in regard of asset value, capacity and growth ability
3. Monitor the Business selection process and coordinate with respective government and private stakeholder
4. Provide assistance to develop and conduct business trainings including: financial and administrative trainings, supply chain management trainings, language trainings related to the coffee trade etc.
5. Facilitate the access to credit for business owner.
6. Assist to develop business plans together with grantees. Support and monitor the implementation of theses business plans.
7. Liaise with relevant government departments, the Aceh coffee forum, the camber of commerce and other related stakeholders.
8. Provide support businesses to develop marketing strategies and facilitate local and national participation on fairs and trade shows.
9. Identify alternative existing or future business support facilities, such as grants or access to credit and support business to access them.
10. Coordinate all activities with the other parts of the project.
11. Prepare regular reports to the project manager.
12. Participate in training for farmers, cooperatives and the coffee forum

Desirable Qualifications :

University Degree in business administration, experience in training development, marketing of agricultural products and/or a combination of relevant trainings and with at least three years working experiences in related field. Plan Indonesia and Pokja AMPL (lead by Bappenas RI) is doing a 16 (sixteen) months research project, development guidelines and video advocacy making. We are looking for highly qualified and committed Indonesian, to fill in position below:
 
Liaison/Administration Officer – Based in Pokja AMPL Jakarta
 
This post will be a 16 (sixteen) months fixed-term contract.  She/He will be responsible to provide conceptual, technical and administration assistance to support the agreement between Plan Indonesia and Bappenas RI.
 
Requirements:
§         5-7years working experience, preferably as program assistant & Liaison to high level order
§         Familiar with government bureaucracy in his/her current line of work
§         Familiar with AMPL Policy (water supply & environmental sanitation)
§         Strong skills in teamwork, strategic planning and experience in promoting and developing learning in area of expertise
§         Strong skills as event organizer to private/government officials
§         Communication degree/ public health / any field relevant
§         Computer skills
§         Strong English skills

[lowongan-beasiswa] European Master Scholarships in Nuclear Fusion Science and Engineering Physics, Erasmus Mundus

 

The aim of the European Master in Nuclear Fusion Science and Engineering Physics (FUSION-EP) programme is to provide a high-level, multinational, research-oriented education in fusion-related engineering physics, in close relation to the research activities of the partners, together with a well-integrated language and cultural experience. The combined and harmonized teaching & research of the 7 universities offers a broad range of competences in the field of fusion science and engineering physics. The Joint European Masters Programme offers a genuine European opportunity for Master level studies in a field which is of crucial importance to solving the urgent and vital problem of world energy supply.

In view of the expertise of the partners, the programme offers three programme tracks to the student: Plasma physics (fusion-oriented); Computational methods in physics; and Instrumentation and Radiation. The programme structure is combined with a mandatory stay for each student at two universities in two countries: semesters 1&2 at University A; and semesters 3 & 4 in B. Semesters 3 & 4 are in a particular track.
During semester 4 students will also attend a one month long winter school at the ITER site (attendance is compulsory). After semesters 2 & 4 a summer event is organized (attendance is compulsory) in which tracks and Master thesis topics are proposed for Master 1 students Master 2 students defend their thesis at this event. Student mobility is an inherent part of the programme structure and philosophy.

The partners in the Consortium are:

Universiteit Gent, Belgium (coordinator)
Université Henri Poincaré, Nancy, France
Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain
Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain
Universität Stuttgart, Germany

The joint or multiple degrees are recognised in Belgium, France, Spain and Germany.
Admission criteria:
Bachelor degree in engineering physics, applied physics, physics or equivalent degree. Sufficient bachelor level knowledge in classical and modern physics is mandatory together with the necessary mathematical and computer programming skills. No difference is made between third-country students, EU students, grantees and non-grantees. Applicants (students and scholars) from third countries (whether or not applying for a grant) will be subject to a well-defined selection procedure aimed at achieving high quality.
Erasmus Mundus Scholarship
Per academic year Erasmus Mundus scholarships are available for FUSION-EP students from third countries are available. Nationals coming from all countries other than the 25 EU Member States (Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, the UK, Sweden, Cyprus, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia), the EEA-EFTA states (Island, Liechtenstein and Norway) and the candidate countries for accession to the EU (presently Croatia and Turkey), who are not residents of any of the above countries, and who have not carried out their main activities (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the above countries are considered "third-country nationals".

no more than 4 of the selected third-country students should come from the same country.
no more than 2 of the selected third-country students should come from the same institution (3 where a Partnership under Action 3 has been established).

The Erasmus Mundus scholarship consist of twenty monthly instalments of 1600 euro and a yearly fee of 5000 euro to cover expenses, like subscription fees, insurances and travel.
