VACANCIES AT PILI

Green Network is a local NGO concern with environment. PILI’s vision is “Developing human behavior to be able preserving environment”. Now we are seeking a highly enthusiasm and concern with environment to join with PILI as :

1. Website and IT Officer

Responsibilities :

managing web development, design and providing new layout; maintain website periodic changes; Maintains (checking and cleaning) IT assets periodically Troubleshoot IT assets problem if occurred.
Troubleshoot Software problem : Operating Systems both Linux and Windows, and other supporting softwares ; if arise. Maintains and troubleshoot network environment.

Qualifications :

Familiar with PHP/Database SQL/MYSQL, HTML, Java Script, WHM, and cPanel Server Administration; Familiar with CMS: Wordpress, and/or Joomla and/or Typo-3; Good knowledge of Linux OS, Windows OS and its supporting softwares; Good knowledge of LAN; Good interpersonal skill,  strong motivation, and learning attitude

2. GIS & Database officer

Responsibilities :

Data management & GIS programming tasks, consulting on data management and system/solution implementation
Manage & develop database, utilities and automate report
Installation & configuration of database
Responsible for the day to day running of the database system
Implement and enforce database administration of standard and procedure
Database performance tuning
Backup and resolve database issues

Qualifications :

Excellent skill of ArcGIS Desktop and a Basic or Standard level of ArcGIS Server.
Strong conceptual of GIS enterprise, strong spatial analytical skill, the high level concern of data accuracy.
Strong skills in ArcObjects with VB.Net
Development Tools: .Net Framework, SQL Server 2000, Oracle 8i and above
Good knowledge in Management Information System, Visual Basic

3. Librarian

Responsibilities :

Develop cataloguing, classification and filing digital system ofpublications – including and not limited to visual and audio materials, publications, presentations, reports and information.
Develop on-line and intranet library, to ensure easy storage and retrieval of the library materials, including development and maintenance of on-line library.
Develop and maintain the library system.
Organize shelves within the library in accordance with the established filing system.
Maintain records of library services, new acquisitions, circulation of materials.
Research retrospective or current documents or materials not in Library’s collection for patrons and make referrals to other collections.
Serve as referral sources and advisor in designated speciality for a cooperative library programs

Qualifications :

D3/S1 degree in Library and Information Science/ related field from reputable university
Able to perform cataloguing, classification of books using Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme
Having experience is an advantage, but fresh graduates are also welcome.
Ability to communicate in English fluently (verbal & written)
Pleasant personality, communicative and highly adaptable to new challenges, responsible, creative, highly motivated, fast learner, demonstrates initiative, and good teamwork

4. Research Assistant

Responsibilities :

Do desk study for climate change impacts to communities around protected areas in Indonesia.
Improving stakeholder networking related to the overview/case above.
Do facilitation both in the organization and communities.

Qualifications :

Holds minimum bachelor degree from well recognized International or Indonesian University, majoring Mathematics and Science, Social science, Forestry or relevant studies.
Experience is an advantage, however fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
Proficient command of English in both verbal and written
Computer literate, especially in projects/statistics related applications, advanced Ms. Excel and Ms. Power Point would be an added value.
Self-driven, energetic, and is willing to put extra efforts at work with high achievement and result orientation
High analytical thinking and sound presentation skills
Has passion in doing research
